Reading Acts 10, 34-44
The Holy Spirit came down on all the listeners.
Gospel Lk 4, 16-22
The spirit of the Lord is on me.
Prayer:
Almighty God, our Lord,
Father of Jesus Christ,
your Church lives in and from the Holy Spirit,
which is based on you.
We ask you to fill us more and more with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Give us the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and fortitude,
the spirit of knowledge,
piety and fear of God.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
